Unknown gunmen killed the principal and teacher of a school in Srinagar’s Safa Kadal area just two days after three people were shot dead in Srinagar and Bandipora.
Officials said the duo, identified as Satinder Kaur and Deepak Chand, both residents of Alochibagh, were shot and badly injured by unknown gunmen. They were taken to SKIMS hospital, where they were declared dead.
A well-known pharmacist was among three people slain by unknown gunmen in Srinagar on Tuesday. Unknown militants shot Makhan Lal Bindroo, the owner of Bindroo Medicate, in his shop in Iqbal Park. “He was shot four times and pronounced dead at SMHS hospital,” officials said. Bindroo, a well-known chemist in the area, has been running his pharmacy in Srinagar for decades and was well-known for his philanthropic efforts.
Unknown shooters killed two school instructors, one of which was a woman, inside a government school in Srinagar’s Eidgah neighbourhood today.
According to the news agency KNO, unknown gunmen opened fire from close range at two teachers, one of them was a woman, at a Government School in Eidgah, Srinagar. The official stated, “Both died on the spot.”
Officials told News18 that the gunmen opened fire on the couple, named as Satinder Kaur and Deepak Chand, both inhabitants of Alochibagh, critically injuring them. They were taken to SKIMS hospital, where they were declared dead.
