Chenab Valley Divisional Status: All Political Parties’ workers meet at Thathri

In a new meeting on Sunday, a group of all political parties’ workers, including Congress, PDP, NC, Apni Party, etc., met at Dak Bunglow Thathri in Thathri town of Doda district to strengthen the movement for the demand of Divisional Status for the Chenab Valley politically.

The meeting lasted for 3 hours in which various political and social activists and leaders from Bhalessa, Drabshalla, and Thathri were present, including Senior National Conference Leader, Shamim Ahmed, Apni Party District President Doda Asgar Hussain Khanday, Youth Leader Bhalessa Ishtiak Naik, Abdul Kabir, BDC Chairperson Drabshalla, Suraj Parihar, Mukund Ram, Altaf Hussain, Talib Hussain PDP, Ghulam Haider, Mohd Iqbal, Imtiaz Hussain, Bilal Ahmed, Abid Hussain, Mashkoor Ahmed and various others were also present. Shamim Ahmed briefed the gathering about the agenda of the movement and said that this movement is not in the interest of any political party but for the people who live in all three districts of the Chenab valley. 

Suraj Parihar, Mukund Ram, Asgar Khanday, and various others also spoke in the meeting and expressed full support for this movement.
