Republic Day celebrated in District Court Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH: At the District Court Complex Bhaderwah, the 73rd Republic Day was marked with usual passion and gaiety, with Pr District and Sessions Judge Virender Singh Bhau unfurling the national flag. Munish K Manhas, Sub Judge Sumiti Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar Bhagat, ASP Raj Kumar, SDPO Meer Gafoor, Station House Officer Jatinder Rakhwal, Tehsil Bhaderwah Shoket Ahmed, Executive Engineer R&B, Advocate Vaibhav Sharma, and Advocate Mohd Majid Malik were also in participation.

The major guest for the event, Pr District and Sessions Judge Bhaderwah Virender Singh Bhau, addressed the gathering, saying that the day is significant since it marks the beginning of India’s secular, sovereign, socialist, and democratic republic. He also mentioned that India became an independent state on January 26, 1950, when the Indian Constitution went into effect. Other speakers, Advocate Vaibhav Sharma and Advocate Mohd Majid Malik, explained the basic framework of the constitution, noting that it has 448 articles divided into 25 parts, 12 schedules, and 98 amendments.

This day, according to Advocate Mohd Majid Malik, “reminds us of the value of all freedom fighters, their sacrifices for the country’s liberation, and their loyalty to the country.” As a result, on this day, we devote our undivided attention and admiration to them, he added. He also discussed the preamble of the constitution and the directive principles of state policy.
