Imran Khan, Pakistan’s prime minister, has called for new elections after parliament rejected a no-confidence move against him.
The deputy speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly has denied a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan, claiming that the proposal is illegal. Following the move, Khan stated that he has proposed to Pakistan’s President that the National Assembly be dissolved and new elections be held.
