Doda Police has apprehended two notorious drug Peddlers from Karara, Doda and recovered Charas from their possession.
In a statement issued to The Chenab Times, Police said that under operation SANJEEVANI today on 23.04.22 during the course of Special Naka checking at Bhella Morh by the Police party of Police Post Karara led by SI Sugreev Kumar IC PP Karara apprehended two notorious drug Peddlers namely Abid Hussain son of Parvaiz Hussain resident of Dandi Bhaderwah and Mudasir Hussain son of Shamim Ahmed resident of Gosti Chiralla and recovered 180 gms Narcotic Substance (CHARAS) from their possession.
In this regard a case FIR No. 50 /2022, U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation has been taken up.
The arrest of Notorious drug Peddlers and recovery of Narcotic Substance was made under the close supervision of Insp Bhopinder Singh Incharge SHO Police Station Thathri and Ghafoor Meer SDPO Bhaderwah and under the overall supervision Aftab Ahmed Mir Addl.SP Bhaderwah.
