In the Kahara area of Doda district, a 20-year-old Madrassa student dies, while two minors become unconscious after learning of their schoolmate’s death.
As per details available with The Chenab Times, the deceased were identified as 20-year-old Mohd Ramzan, son of Mohd Rafiq Magray, a resident of Tanta Kahara, who was studying at Madrassa Shamsul Uloom Kahara.
An eyewitness who is also a student of the same Madrassa told The Chenab Times that Ramzan usually played cricket with other students and then ate lunch with other students and went for Namaz but suddenly suffered cardiac arrest and fell down.
A teacher of madrassa, Mufti Younus Wani, also confirmed the said incident. The two student who were unconscious were relatives of the deceased.
Speaking to The Chenab Times, Dr Rohit Katoch, the doctor who examined the trio, said, “As per the history of the case, the deceased had witnessed cardiac arrest while two unconscious boys also fainted due to shock of the news but are stable now.”
“The final cause of death of the deceased can be said after medical formalities,” he added.
A police official said that the body would be handed over to family after the medical-legal formalities.
