Taekwondo athlete Danish Manzoor from Jammu and Kashmir selected as Fit India Ambassador.

As per information available with The Chenab Times, Fit India Movement is a nation-wide movement in India to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives. Fit India Movement was launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi on 29 August 2019.
“With the aim of making fitness a priority for all citizens, Fit India Mission office has decided to join hands with well-known names from all walks of life and encourage people to bring about a behavioural change in their lives,” the web page reads.
Danish Manzoor was among the top 20 athletes across the world in the first-ever International Online European Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2020.
Recently, Danish represented team India in Israel in Open G2 Olympic ranking Taekwondo Championship 2022 .
