Various Facebook pages have witnessed a serious bug on Meta’s Facebook where live videos are disappearing minutes after publishing.
Talking to The Chenab Times, Shravan Pandit, who runs FireMedia in Kishtwar, said that a 15-minute long live video has disappeared from their Facebook page just after some hours of publication on Tuesday evening. “Even today’s [Wednesday] livestream has disappeared without any notification,” he added.
Various journalists working with local news portals explained their similar experiences in Kishtwar.
The Chenab Times’ social media team also informed CT Desk that two live videos from CT’s Facebook page disappeared on Wednesday morning. The livestream was simply about the celebration of the achievements of the police officials.
CT contacted Meta Partnership Program agent and Meta Support Pro team to discuss the issue, but there was no final solution at the moment. “The team is reviewing the issue and will get back to you with a solution soon,” they responded when contacted last time.
