The Veer Gatha Project 2.0 is a national level competition organized by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, to recognize and reward the contribution of students in spreading the ideals of patriotism and nationalism. It is an initiative to instill the values of patriotism and nationalism in the youth of the country and encourage them to be responsible and active citizens.

Sadiya Haffiz, daughter of Hafizullah Zagar, is a bright and talented student who has excelled in academics and extracurricular activities, according to The Chenab Times sources. She has always been interested in spreading the message of patriotism and nationalism and has actively participated in various events and competitions related to the same.

Her hard work and dedication have finally paid off as she has been selected among 25 students from across the country to receive the Veer Gatha Project 2.0 award. She will be honoured with an appreciation certificate and a prize of Rs 10000 in New Delhi on January 26, 2023.

The Principal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Thathri, Mrs. B.D Sharma, said that this achievement is a result of the efforts of all staff members, especially Mr. Mohd Yasin, the Nodal Officer for the Veer Gatha Project 2.0 in the institution. Mr. Yasin has always encouraged the students to participate in such competitions and has played a crucial role in guiding and mentoring them.

Sadiya Haffiz’s achievement is a testament to the fact that hard work, dedication, and a sense of patriotism can take you a long way. She is an inspiration to all the students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Thathri and we are proud of her for making us all proud.
