Imran Ahmed Kichloo, 33, is a shining example of hard work and dedication paying off. Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, he persevered and achieved great success in his academic and professional endeavors.
Growing up in the small town of Kishtwar in the Jammu and Kashmir region, Imran excelled in his studies from a young age. He scored the 10th rank in the 12th class from the Jammu division, and went on to study arts and mathematics in 10+2. He then pursued a B.A. honors degree in 2011 and a Master’s degree in political science in 2013 from AMU (Aligarh Muslim University).
Imran’s hard work paid off, as he was awarded gold medals for both his B.A. and M.A. degrees. The B.A honors gold medal was presented to him by then-King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, while the M.A gold medal was awarded to him by renowned singer A.R. Rahman.
In 2013, after only six months of preparation, Imran successfully qualified for the PCS Examination in his first attempt, ranking 51st without any coaching. This impressive feat earned him a position as an audit officer at the Office of Local Funds Audit and Pensions of J&K. He is now a Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officer and currently posted as an account officer at DC office Kishtwar.
Imran’s accomplishments don’t stop there. He has also qualified for various competitive exams such as NET, SET, assistant professor, SSB, and VLW. In addition to his career as a Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officer, Imran has a passion for writing and has had his quotes and columns published in newspapers such as Bold Voice and Udaan.
Speaking to The Chenab Times, KAS officer Imran Ahmed Kichloo urged young people to put in both hard work and smart work in order to succeed. He emphasizes that there is no easy way to achieve success and that it requires dedication and effort. Kichloo also emphasizes the importance of recognizing and developing one’s abilities and capabilities. He adds that power comes with responsibility and that a person’s true character is revealed when they are given power. Overall, the message of the statement is that hard work and responsibility are key to achieving success and being a good leader.
