PM Modi greets people of Himachal on state’s formation day

New Delhi: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Himachal Pradesh on the state’s formation day, which marks the 51st anniversary of its becoming the 18th state of the Indian Union.

In a tweet, PM Modi said that the state had made tremendous progress since 1971. He added that the hardworking people of the state, which is full of natural beauty, have also been dedicated to serving the country.

Himachal Pradesh, known for its picturesque landscapes and diverse culture, has made significant strides in various development indicators, such as education, healthcare, and tourism, in the past few decades. The state has also been a major contributor to the country’s hydroelectric power generation.

PM Modi wished the people of Himachal Pradesh a happy formation day and urged them to continue working towards building a prosperous and inclusive state.

In other parts of the country, leaders from across the political spectrum also greeted the people of Himachal Pradesh on this occasion and praised the state’s progress and contributions to the nation.
