Kashmiri Youth’s Certificate Burning Video Goes Viral, The Chenab Times Digs Deeper

A viral video of a youth burning his original documents including degrees, certificates, and all achievement certificates has sparked outrage on social media. The video has gone viral with people assuming that he did something wrong, while some say that the certificates were fake or Xerox copies and he did it for views on his video. However, some argue that the Kashmiri youth is suffering from anxiety due to the political crisis in the region.

After conducting a thorough investigation, The Chenab Times has found the original video uploader, Faizsa Wani, on Instagram. Upon scrolling through his profile, we discovered another video in which he added clarification in Roman Urdu text. He explained that he made the video to share his pain as these certificates were not helping him in any way and only caused him distress. He also mentioned that his intention was not to get famous or to get a government job. Instead, he wanted to share his feelings with the world as he was not receiving any support from the administration.

In the video, Faizan mentions that he has faced a lot of injustice and oppression in Kashmir. Those who have connections get ahead while others are left behind. He further added that he is not promoting negativity and that he is content with his current situation. Faizan stated that he is grateful for those who supported him and advised others to study hard and work towards their goals.

Upon speaking to Faizan on Instagram, he clarified that he did not intend to garner views from the video. He burned his certificates as a way to cope with the anxiety and depression he was feeling. Faizsa Wani is from Batamaloo Srinagar and his real name is Faizan Wani.

It is important to note that the political crisis in Kashmir has affected the mental health of the people in the region. This incident should be taken as a wake-up call to provide necessary support and resources to those who are suffering from anxiety and depression. It is crucial to address the root cause of the problem and work towards a solution to ensure that the people of Kashmir receive the necessary support and care.
