Tragedy struck the Co-operative Societies Limited as one of its employees was killed in a scuffle that broke out in Nasrullah Pora, Budgam on Thursday afternoon. The incident reportedly occurred due to a dispute between two individuals, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation leaving one of the parties grievously injured.
According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Kaisar Yousaf Zargar, a 29-year-old resident of Gowharpora Chadoora in Budgam, who was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries before he could receive medical attention.
Confirming the incident, a police official revealed that the accused, identified as Abid Hussain Dar, a resident of Pathan Pora in Nasrullah Pora, had surrendered himself to the authorities and was being questioned about the entire episode. The police have also registered a case in connection with the incident.
