In a relentless effort to curb terror activities and disrupt the channels of terror funding, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted a series of raids across several locations in Jammu and Kashmir. The operations, which have taken place in Srinagar, Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Kulgam, are part of the ongoing investigation into terror funding and related cases. It has been revealed that the majority of the targeted houses belong to individuals associated with the Jamaat-e-Islami organization.
According to reliable sources, NIA teams have initiated searches in the Wachi area of Shopian, Nehama and Litter areas of Pulwama district, and the Fresal area of Kulgam district. Another team has recently arrived in the Achawal area of Anantnag district, where preparations are underway to commence the raid.
