In a heart-wrenching incident, a 7-year-old girl lost her life after accidentally falling into a well in the Nikloora Litter area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Fatima Jan, was the daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Dar, a resident of Nikloora.
According to an official from the local authorities, the unfortunate incident occurred during the afternoon while Fatima was engrossed in play near her residence. In a matter of moments, she accidentally slipped and fell into the nearby well, leaving her family members in a state of shock and distress.
As soon as the incident unfolded, her family members swiftly sprung into action, working together to rescue the young girl from the well. With their combined efforts, they managed to bring her out of the well and immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
Despite the prompt response and her family’s desperate attempts to save her life, the medical team at the hospital, upon Fatima’s arrival, declared her deceased.
