Outstanding Performance in JKBOSE Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Results of 2023

In the recently announced results of the Secondary School Examination Annual Regular – 2023, students across various subjects showcased remarkable academic achievements. The examination, which serves as a significant milestone in a student’s educational journey, witnessed a large number of participants excelling in their respective fields. The overall pass percentage for the annual regular exams stood at an impressive 79.89%. Let’s delve into the subject-wise performance and noteworthy achievements of the students:

The performance across various subjects was exceptional. Students in the English subject demonstrated their proficiency, securing a pass percentage of 85.23%. Meanwhile, Mathematics saw 70.00% of students passing with flying colors. Hindi students displayed an outstanding result, attaining an impressive pass percentage of 95.00%. The Urdu subject witnessed a commendable achievement as well, with 91.00% of students emerging successful. The Science subject witnessed an 89.00% pass rate, while Social Studies students achieved a remarkable pass percentage of 90.50%.

It is noteworthy to mention the exemplary performance in the optional/vocational subjects as well. Computer Science students achieved a perfect pass rate of 100.00%, setting a new standard of excellence.

Additionally, subjects such as Arabic and Kashmir displayed exceptional performance, with pass percentages of 98.00% and 98.50% respectively.

In the Class 10th examination, a total of 77,422 boys and 71,279 girls appeared. Among the boys, an impressive 78.23% successfully passed the examination, showcasing their dedication and hard work. Similarly, the girls demonstrated their academic prowess with a remarkable pass rate of 81.68%. These results reflect the commitment and diligence exhibited by both genders, and highlight the importance of equal access to education for all.

Despite the overall success, a few unfortunate incidents marred the examination process. Disputed eligibility arose in one case, while eleven students were found guilty of resorting to unfair means. The examination of 102 students had to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Furthermore, six students faced disqualification for two years, and one student faced disqualification for three years. Additionally, 136 subject examinations were canceled due to administrative reasons.

Overall, the results of the Secondary School Examination Annual Regular – 2023 reflect the hard work and dedication of the students. The exceptional performances across multiple subjects highlight the potential and talent within the student community. These achievements not only contribute to individual success but also serve as an inspiration for future generations.
