The Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda, a Registered NGO and Social Organization, led by its Chief Advisor Prof Zaheer Abass Hashmi, extended a warm welcome to Ms Afsha Afreen (JKAS) on 31-07-2023, as she assumed office as the new Tehsildar Doda.
Members of YSCC expressed immense pleasure at the appointment of Ms Afsha Afreen, who is a local daughter of the District. They conveyed their optimism that her tenure would usher in a new era of development in all aspects of the revenue department, and she would actively address the grievances of the general public.
As a local officer with commendable qualifications, the YSCC believes that Ms Afreen’s presence will propel the department towards new heights of success and prosperity, as she is expected to prioritize the aspirations of the people in the Doda Tehsil.
The delegation emphasized the importance of key milestones and an unbiased approach, urging the new Tehsildar to remain committed to public services while diligently addressing the grievances of the citizens.
In response, Ms Afsha Afreen graciously thanked the YSCC delegation for the grand welcome and assured them that she would work diligently to meet the expectations and aspirations of the people in Doda Tehsil. She pledged her dedication to uplift the region and bring about positive changes during her tenure.
The esteemed members of the delegation, including Sh Manzoor Ahmed Batt (Patron YSCC), Sh Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev, Mohd Iqbal Balwan, Sh Faizan A Tramboo, and Syed Nasir, were present during the welcoming ceremony.
Ms Afreen’s appointment as the new Tehsildar Doda has raised hopes among the local populace for a new phase of progress and welfare in the region. With her in charge, the revenue department is expected to witness efficient administration and more responsive services for the betterment of the community.
