Doda Authorities Convene Meeting to Bolster Agricultural Sectors

Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, presided over a pivotal gathering aimed at advancing agricultural productivity in the region. The meeting, held with precision at the mini meeting hall, focused on evaluating the strides made in executing the Holistic Agriculture Department Program (HADP) across the district, as spearheaded by the Agriculture and allied departments. The primary objective remains the augmentation of productivity, with aspirations to exceed pre-established benchmarks.

In attendance were dedicated officers hailing from diverse departments, each presenting an in-depth overview of their sector’s progress. Key departments including Fisheries, Agriculture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry, and Sheep Husbandry took center stage during the deliberations. The district heads of these departments provided intricate insights into the agro welfare schemes, highlighting their benefits while pinpointing obstacles that have hindered seamless implementation.

A comprehensive review of 10 cases concerning Agriculture Department initiatives was meticulously undertaken, resulting in unanimous approval. Simultaneously, the Fisheries Department brought forward 11 cases that underwent rigorous examination and received the green light.

Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan underscored the pressing need for improved execution and implementation of these endeavors within the district. He called upon the officers to uphold strict adherence to their designated responsibilities, endeavoring to meet set targets within stipulated timeframes. The overarching goal is to ensure the widespread benefits of these initiatives reach the deserving populace.

This collective endeavor drew various officials to the forefront, including ACR Doda, Deputy Director of Employment Doda, CPO Doda, Account Officer of the DC office Doda, Chief Agriculture Officer of Doda, and DFO Doda. Representatives from concerned departments also participated, marking a collaborative step towards ushering in a new era of agricultural prosperity and enhanced livelihoods for the people of Doda.
