Cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi, who was allegedly involved in inciting communal violence leading up to the tragic clashes in Nuh district, has been apprehended by local police. The arrest took place on Tuesday at his residence in Faridabad, according to reliable reports.
The religious riots that unfolded on July 31 resulted in the unfortunate loss of six lives and left 88 individuals severely wounded in Nuh. The authorities have been diligently investigating the circumstances surrounding the clashes and striving to hold those responsible for the unrest accountable.
In their efforts to bring justice to the victims of the turmoil, the Nuh Police have taken 230 individuals into custody in connection with the religious riots. Meanwhile, the Gurugram Police have reported the arrest of 79 suspects as part of their ongoing investigation.
Though no official statement has been issued by the authorities regarding Bittu Bajrangi’s arrest till the filing of this report, a CCTV footage shared by Faridabad News on the social media platform X seemingly captures the moment the Nuh Police took him into custody.
