A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel reportedly took his own life on Sunday by shooting himself with his service rifle in the Banihal area of Ramban district, according to an official source.
The deceased CRPF jawan, whose identity has been withheld, hailed from Bihar state and was stationed for security duties at the Banihal-Qazigund Nayvug tunnel, as per news agency KNO. Tragically, he allegedly ended his own life by discharging his service rifle.
