En Route to Bhaderwah Jail, Bus Collides with Army Vehicle in Ramban, 17 police personnel, 3 woman detainees injured

In a distressing incident on Sunday, a bus carrying seventeen police personnel and three female detainees collided with an army vehicle in Ramban district, resulting in injuries to all onboard.

The incident occurred near the T2 Tunnel Marog in Ramban as the bus, en route from Srinagar’s central jail to Bhaderwah jail, collided with the army vehicle that was ahead of it. Among the injured individuals were women constables, according to officials.

All injured parties, including the female detainees, were swiftly transported to the district hospital in Ramban for medical attention.

Mr. Nahiem ul Haq, the Station House Officer (SHO) in Ramban, confirmed the accident and provided reassurance regarding the injured individuals’ conditions. “All of them have minor injuries,” he stated, emphasizing that the injuries were not life-threatening.

A case related to the incident has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
