In a distressing turn of events, a 19-year-old girl was discovered hanging at her residence in the Khansahib area of Budgam district, located in central Kashmir. This somber incident occurred on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the locality.
According to reports, the young girl’s lifeless body was found within her home. Immediate action was taken, with the girl swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent medical attention. Regrettably, the medical personnel at the Khansahib hospital declared her deceased upon arrival, shrouding the area in an aura of sorrow.
As per standard procedures, the authorities will conduct necessary medico-legal formalities before the girl’s remains are handed over to her grieving family for the final rites. Concurrently, an extensive investigation has been launched to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
