A devastating incident unfolded in Reshipora, Awantipora, in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir, as a 10-year-old girl lost her life in a collision with a dumper on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Areeba Arshad, a young girl whose life was tragically cut short due to the unfortunate accident. According to an official statement from authorities, as per news agency KNO, Areeba Arshad was struck by a dumper, resulting in severe injuries.
Promptly after the incident, the young girl was rushed to a nearby hospital in an attempt to save her life. Regrettably, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she succumbed to her injuries.
In response to this tragic incident, police took immediate action. A case has been registered in connection with the collision, and the driver of the dumper has been arrested. Additionally, the vehicle involved in the accident has been seized for further investigation.
