In a heart-wrenching incident, two individuals lost their lives on Wednesday in a road accident near the Ban Toll Plaza in the Nagrota area of Jammu. The accident occurred when a motorcycle bearing the registration number JK02DE 7950 was involved in a collision.
Police told The Chenab Times that the victims, identified as Waqar Ahmed Naik, son of Ghulam Mohd Naik and resident of Neel in Ramban, and Arjun Singh, son of Pritam Singh and resident of Bhomag Reasi, suffered critical injuries in the accident. Swift action was taken, and they were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, both individuals succumbed to their injuries while undergoing medical treatment.
The motorcycle involved in the accident was recently registered and reportedly belonged to Rahul Parihar, as per sources of The Chenab Times. However, there is no official confirmation about this, while government’s mParivahan app also shows the similar name.

Meanwhile, the majority of the reports show the bike number as JK02DF 7950 instead of JK02DE 7950. The Chenab Times has confirmed that JK02DE 7950 is the correct number, and the image of the bike clearly shows that the letter “E” is scratched at the bottom, which is likely the reason for the mistaken number.
