The Congress party, under the leadership of District President Adv. Mohd Asif Naqeeb, recently conducted a workers’ meeting in Gulabgarh Paddar, focusing on assessing and bolstering the party’s presence in the Paddar block. The meeting served as a platform for key party members to discuss strategies for strengthening the Congress party at the grassroots level.
In attendance were notable figures from the Congress party, including Senior Congress Leader Shri Pyare Lal Shan, who holds the position of State General Secretary. Shri Fridous Mingnoo and Shri Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, both State Secretaries, were present to provide their insights and contributions. The meeting also saw the participation of Muneeb Kamal, the General Secretary of JKPYC, and Nayer Amin Butt, President of DYC, among others. Ghulam Abbas Malik, a Senior Congress Leader, and Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh were among the prominent individuals contributing to the discussions. Shri Rangail Singh, Shri Siri Lal Parihar (Sarpanch), Shri Amar Singh (Ex-Sarpanch), Shri Irshad Ahmed (Ex-Sarpanch), Phafa Tundup, Daleep Sharma, and Ashok Tikoo were also actively engaged in the dialogue.
During the meeting, Adv. Asif Naqeeb, Congress District President Kishtwar, exhibited a keen interest in addressing the concerns and grievances of the local population. This interaction exemplified the party’s commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of the community, thereby fostering a deeper connection with the people of Paddar. It underscored the party’s dedication to serving the community and strengthening its roots.
Adv. Asif Naqeeb emphasized the Congress party’s sacrifices in the pursuit of strengthening the fabric of nationalism. He urged the people of Paddar to unite against what he referred to as “fascist forces” that threaten the values of secularism and brotherhood.
In a significant development, several prominent personalities pledged their allegiance to the Congress ideology during the meeting. These individuals included Lokzen Tenzin Ji, Rajinder Singh Ji, Sahil Kumar Ji, Ashok Kumar Ji, Ramlal Ji, Somnath Ji, Kunj Lal Ji, Suresh Kumar Ji, M.R. Saran Ji, Daleep Kumar Ji, and others, further enhancing the party’s local support.
