In commemoration of World AIDS Day, the Health Department in Kishtwar organized an informative event at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) School Shalimar Kishtwar. The initiative, held under the guidance and supervision of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kishtwar, Dr. Mohd Yaqoob Mir, saw active participation from healthcare professionals and students alike.
The event, which aimed at spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS, was overseen by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kishtwar, Dr. Sat Lal Manhas. Various students delivered insightful speeches, shedding light on the importance of understanding and combating the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS in society.
Dr. Nazir Hussain, a Medical Officer in Kishtwar, contributed to the event by delivering a comprehensive awareness speech. Dr. Hussain emphasized the need for continued education and understanding of HIV/AIDS to eradicate stigma and foster a supportive environment for those affected.
