A farewell party was held today for Dr. Anit Kumar Veternary Assistant Surgeon, who is being transferred after more than four and a half years of service at the Government Sheep Breeding Farm (SBF) Thathri. Dr. Kumar’s contributions were lauded, particularly his dedication to establishing a summer camp in Kuddi Paddar this year, which was praised by government officials.
Dr. Ashok Vigyan VAS was also welcomed to the SBF Thathri during the party. The event was attended by Dr. Azhar Moomin Bichoo, Assistant Director of SBF Thathri, along with other officers and staff members.

Colleagues, including Shanti Prakash (Flock Inspector), Sunil Sharma, Mohd. Ashraf, Noor ul Amin (Flock Supervisors), and Ajay Kumar (Stock Assistant), shared their appreciation for Dr. Kumar’s work and contributions. Dr. Kumar also expressed his emotions and shared experiences gained during his time at Thathri.
The farewell party was a fitting tribute to Dr. Kumar’s service and a warm welcome to Dr. Vigyan as he joins the SBF Thathri team.
