A Tata Mobile carrying four individuals collided with a scooter near Bhadroon village in Doda district on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of the driver and injuries to the remaining three occupants.
The Tata Mobile, bearing registration number JK06 A 9732, was driven by Waseem Ahmed, a resident of Roti Padarna village. The other passengers included Talib Hussain and Aqib Hussain, both from Nalwah village, and Punjab Singh, the driver of the scooter, who hailed from Kashod Jodhpur.
Sources told The Chenab Times that the accident occurred around 6:00 PM as the Tata Mobile was traveling from Doda towards Roti Padarna. Upon reaching Bhadroon, it collided with the oncoming scooter, causing both vehicles to plunge approximately 200-250 feet down into the george.
All four individuals involved in the accident were immediately rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) in Doda for medical attention. Unfortunately, doctors declared Waseem Ahmed dead upon arrival. The remaining three individuals are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
