In a devastating accident near Hori Nallah, Dachhan, a vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuring two others. The accident occurred approximately 50 kilometers from Kishtwar.
The ill-fated vehicle, bearing registration number JK01K-5426, was en route to Sounder Dachhan when the driver lost control, leading to the tragic plunge. Local sources of The Chenab Times report that the accident resulted in the immediate death of four passengers. The two injured individuals were promptly transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Eyewitness accounts and images from the scene paint a harrowing picture of the aftermath, with scenes of severe damage and crushed heads of minors among the casualties.
Authorities have yet to release the identities of the deceased and injured, pending notification of their families. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
