The Chenab Times mourns the loss of a cherished member of our society, Sakina Begum, who passed away at the age of 73 after a prolonged illness. She breathed her last in Srinagar, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and resilience.
Sakina Begum was the mother of Advocate Sheikh Nasir, a senior legal advisor to The Chenab Times and the President of the Bar Association Kishtwar. Her passing is a profound loss for all who knew her.
Anzer Ayoob, founder and Editor of The Chenab Times, expressed his deepest condolences to Advocate Sheikh Nasir and his family. “In this time of sorrow, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Advocate Sheikh Nasir and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this difficult period. May Allah grant Sakina Begum the highest place in Jannah,” said Ayoob.
Condolences are also extended to Dr. Nazir Hussain, Sakina Begum’s son and a medical officer, who serves as the President of the NHM Employees Association Kishtwar. The entire community stands with them in solidarity during this time of grief.
Sakina Begum’s contribution to her family and her spirit will be remembered by all. The Chenab Times family joins in mourning her loss and prays for strength and peace for her loved ones. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
