A tragic accident occurred today in Pora Bhalessa of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of Mohd Yaseen Mughal, a local shopkeeper. Yaseen, who owned a shop selling utensils in Batt Market, was well-known in the area for his kindness and dedication to his family.
The incident took place near Butgowari (Pora) involving a Scooty with registration number PB10 GC 8602, sources told The Chenab Times. After dropping off his two children at a school bus, Yaseen lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, falling into a gorge at the accident site, which notably lacked crash barriers. Emergency services were dispatched, but Yaseen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Locals shifted the body to PHC Changa for further examination. The people who know him are in shock over the loss of Mohd Yaseen Mughal, a noble individual whose untimely passing has left a significant void.
Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
