Thathri, January 8 – The Office of the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Thathri has informed The Chenab Times that a team of specialist doctors from GMC Doda will visit the Community Health Center (CHC) Thathri on January 9, 2025. This visit is part of the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) scheme, a government initiative aimed at ensuring safe motherhood through comprehensive prenatal care.
The visit is being conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, IAS, with the support of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Thathri, Dr. Versha Sharma, and Principal GMC Doda, Dr. Rakesh Behel.
According to the BMO’s office, the visiting team will include a Gynaecologist and a Radiologist, Dr. Yassir, who will provide free medical check-ups and ultrasounds exclusively for pregnant women.
