Srinagar, Feb 26 (KB): Ehsaas Foundation has extended wishes to the Kashmiri Pandit community on the auspicious occasion of Herath, a festival dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva.
The Foundation in a statement issued to news agency Kashmir Bulletin, emphasized the festival’s significance in fostering unity, harmony, and cultural heritage among communities. “Herath is a time of devotion and celebration, symbolizing faith, renewal, and togetherness. We extend our best wishes to all those observing this sacred occasion,” reads the statement.
Herath, also known as Mahashivratri in other parts of India, holds deep spiritual importance for Kashmiri Pandits, who observe it with prayers, rituals, and traditional feasts. (KB)
