Bhaderwah, Apr 21 — Three minors were challaned for violating traffic rules during a special enforcement drive conducted by the Bhaderwah Police at Udrana on Sunday.
The drive, launched under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Suresh Gautam, targeted underage driving and other traffic rule violations. Several motorists were penalized during the operation, including the three minors found operating vehicles without valid licences.

SHO Gautam issued a stern warning to parents, urging them not to allow minors to operate two-wheelers or four-wheelers without proper documentation and licences. He also emphasized the importance of wearing helmets and discouraged triple riding, citing serious safety risks.
“Such violations endanger lives. We urge the public to cooperate and follow traffic rules strictly. Otherwise, stricter actions will follow in the coming days,” Gautam said.
The Bhaderwah Police have stated that similar drives will continue to ensure road safety and legal compliance across the region.
