Multi-Layered Security Deployed for Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025

Over 4,500 police personnel will secure the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 at Bharat Future City in Meerpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad on December 8 and 9. The event will host global leaders, industrialists, and dignitaries for discussions and MoU signings.

According to details received by The Chenab Times, the Rachakonda police commissionerate divided the venue and surrounding areas into 18 operational sectors. A three-tier security system covers the site: the outer ring for crowd and traffic control by law and order and traffic police, the middle ring for perimeter protection by armed units, and the inner ring for VVIP access managed by special branch, intelligence, and event security teams. All VVIPs, VIPs, and delegates receive escorts, personal security officers, and liaison officers from DSP and inspector ranks.

NDTV reported a 25-kilometer stretch to the venue guarded by six checkposts under a deputy commissioner of police, with seven additional checkpoints on south and east sides operational around the clock. VVIPs arriving by helicopter land at a 2.5-kilometer helipad secured by armed guards, with protections along four junctions, 25 bylanes, and four U-turns. The main hall accommodates 2,000 delegates for chief minister addresses, alongside departmental meetings, gala dinners, cultural programs, and a drone show.

Technology integrates the measures, with a 24/7 command control center monitored by three assistant commissioners of police and 50 officers. Over 115 night-vision and pan-tilt-zoom cameras cover routes, parking, and the venue, linked to the center. Ten drone teams monitor traffic and security in real time. Delegate movements from hotels to the site use tracking systems. Kandukur police station serves as a safe house 5.6 kilometers away, and Madhavan Ji Hospital, 16.5 kilometers distant with 100 beds and nine operation theaters, handles emergencies.

The Hindu confirmed about 4,500 personnel overall, with a 150-member communication team and over 1,000 traffic police for diversions and parking for more than 6,000 vehicles, including 1,000 VVIP spots supervised by a deputy commissioner. The New Indian Express noted a dry run on December 7 tested logistics, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reviewing delegate facilities, cultural programs, dining, and fire safety across 25 departments. Three helipads stand ready, and a digital media tunnel installation highlights attractions.

Elite forces include three Octopus platoons for emergencies and three Greyhounds for area domination, overseen by three additional director generals, five inspectors general, 10 IPS officers, and 170 junior officers. The summit expects over 1,000 delegates from 500 companies, including World Health Organization, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and UNICEF representatives. Sessions cover energy, green mobility, IT, semiconductors, health, education, tourism, urban infrastructure, agriculture, women entrepreneurship, gig economy, social welfare, and startups.

Expected MoUs span tourism, sports, cinema, infrastructure, manufacturing, startups, and clean energy, with potential investments nearing Rs 3 lakh crore. Key agreements include Ajay Devgn’s film city, Reliance’s Vantara conservatory and night safari, an $8 billion TCS-TPG data center, and $100 million AI and entertainment projects. The Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document, targeting a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047, launches on December 9. Nobel laureates Abhijit Banerjee and Kailash Satyarthi, Trump Media’s Eric Swider, Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, P.V. Sindhu, and Anil Kumble participate.
