Born as Harinder Singh on 10 April 1999 in Kotla Dadheri, a village near Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib district, Cheema was raised by his parents, Pupinder Singh and Jaswinder Kaur. He completed his schooling and graduation in Punjab before pursuing opportunities that would take him beyond India.
Travel and Cultural Exposure
After completing his education, Cheema travelled to several countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and South Africa. According to the artist, these visits influenced his understanding of audiences from different cultural backgrounds and contributed to his approach to songwriting and performance.
Speaking about the experience, Cheema says:
“Every country gave me a new perspective. Travel taught me that emotions sound the same in every language. Love, pain, hope, and memories connect people everywhere. That’s what I try to bring into my songs.”

“No matter where I perform, my stories begin in Punjab. My village is my inspiration, my parents are my strength, and Punjabi is the language of my soul.”
His music continues to be produced primarily in Punjabi, reflecting an emphasis on retaining the language and cultural context in which his work originates.
