SRINAGAR, Jammu and Kashmir – In recognition of their unwavering dedication and service, 1,028 security personnel across various ranks in Jammu and Kashmir have been granted in-situ promotions by the Security Headquarters.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the promotion process was overseen by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Security J&K, Sujit Kumar, IPS. The committee rigorously evaluated the cases of eligible officials against prescribed rules and criteria, ultimately finding 1,028 personnel fit for advancement to their respective higher positions.
IGP Sujit Kumar extended his congratulations to the newly promoted personnel and their families, acknowledging their diligence, discipline, and professional commitment.
