By Farid Ahmed Naik

Doda:: Roads play an important role in the process of development and indirectly responsible for the economic growth of the particular area. Road works as the life line becomes dead line. So it is very important to maintain roads from time to time to ensure public safe .
Same is the Condition of Doda To Mohalla Road form jodhpur to mohalla

Locals said that the worse condition of this road in is still remain one of the main problems of the commuters who used to visit daily in different parts of the district.
They added that the drainage system along the roads and land slides is a very big problem faced by the local peoples of the concerned area.

People feel insecure till reach the destination. Drainage system along with road is increasing the problem because it has been destructed in some places with result in creation of muddy roads which becomes main problem for the vehicles to pass through.
People of Jatheli, Dongroo, Mohalla and other pyts requested the State government as well as concerned department and administrative authority to look into the matter as fast as possible. So that the life of the poor peoples of rural areas would become secure.

Chenab valley is known for its power projects. Chenab valley has almost seven power projects and some are under construction. Chenab valley consisted of three districts which are Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban. The total population of Chenab valley as per 2011 census is 9.24 lakhs. Chenab valley has the maximum power projects in India but the people of whole Chenab valley is totally in darkness. 60% (Approximately) of the populations are unemployed. Companies like N H P C (National Hydropower Corporation), Shenhua Energy Company, CPP (Choudhary Power Project Pvt. Ltd.) which constructed these projects have their own Engineers and other Technical peoples. Many youths of Chenab valley have completed their Engineering degrees in various fields but most of them didn’t any kind of jobs in these projects. Chenab valley is the hub of Hydroelectric Projects, but the system of electricity is totally weak because the department is too careless.

Most of the people here in Chenab valley pay Rs 749, while they deserve free electricity. While doing research on Electricity in the Doda region, a local resident Raja Shakeel said, ”If Government doesn’t want to give free electricity, then at least they should provide the 24 hours electricity as we pay the rent after knowing the fact that electricity is generated from our areas.” Shakeel also said that the Government failed to give electricity to some villages in Doda district like Tanta. Tanta village is only 10 km far from the Choudhary Power Project but the village is still unelectrified.
In Conclusion, people who live in the hub of Hydro projects, don’t get the benefits which they deserve. However, people report too much loss due to these projects.
1. People lose their lands.
2. People pay the double bill.
3. People don’t get proper electricity
4. If anything happens in these projects half of the population will be destroyed.

But no one listens the voice of common masses

After SRO 202, now Anti-Youth S.O 192 announced by govt, says Jasrotia

0
Amrish Jasrotia

Amrish Jasrotia, State President, Global Youth Movement (J&K) strongly opposed and reject the new order (S.O. 192, The Jammu & Kashmir Probationer and Fixation of Tenure Rules, 2020) for recruitment in Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
According to the new order, no person is considered as a member of service till its period of probation which is 2 years. Government may extend the period of probation if one can fail to meet the standard and requirement of job or appointing authority can terminate or discharge candidate any time during their probation period. During the period of probation, no increment, dearness allowance and other allowances will be given expect the basic salary.
Jasrotia paid a strong concern over this new rule and said, “ It is like an old wine in new bottle and we believe that it is more worst that earlier SRO 202 which is being amended after strong and long agitation by the youth of J&K. Now, government framed it in a new way by S.O. 192, to exploit the youngsters who are waiting for their bright future to come. This policy monopolized the authorities to act as dictators to fire employees anytime during their probation period and new employees will treated as slave. This rule also contradicts the constitutional right of “Equal Pay for Equal Work” as this new rule advocate to give basic salary only during the probation period. BJP which was in front to take undeserved credit over amendment in SRO 202 must take responsibility for this new black order as well. We strongly oppose this order and warn authorities to stop playing hit and trial methods over the already depressed youth of J&K. We appealed to Lt. Governor to revoke it as soon as possible.”
