Unemployed youths of District Kishtwar led by its Chairman Joginder Bhandari has strongly criticised the MLA Kishtwar Sunil Kumar Sharma for interfering into the recruitment process of AFCONS company engaged for execution of Power house of pakal dul hydroelectric project.
The youth leader has said that the AFCONS company was subjected to release the shortlist of candidates for various trades on 3 Aug 2018 but due to the interference of the MLA Kishtwar Sunil Kumar Sharma the shortlist for daily wage posts are being delayed by the AFCONS management which has caused a brewing resentment among the unemployed youths of District Kishtwar.
He said that the AFCONS management is dancing on the tune of the concerned MLA which is a matter of great concern as they are playing with the sentiments of the poor unemployed youths who had submitted their applications for various posts advertised by the AFCONS management for 117 posts for various categories.
Bhandari has warned AFCONS management to act as the contractor of Pakal dul hydroelectric project not to make the project as a political field for a particular party.
Bhandari termed the recruitment process made by the BJP MLA for compitantive examination of Public service Commission just for daily wages posts of tradesmen in the project which can not be tolerated at any cost.
They have urged upon the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir state to direct the management of Chenab Valley Power Projects (CVPP) to execute power projects like Pakal dul, Keru and kawar hydroelectric projects for the larger interest of the country not for the political interest of BJP, this is a public money being invested for the execution of these major hydroelectric projects so the unemployed youths of District Kishtwar being most affected district should be given employment opportunities in these projects.
