Police Cop jumps into river to save 6 years-old girl in Gandoh | Phone-Interview with SDPO Gandoh
A six year old girl were rescued on Sunday from river in Gandoh area of Doda district.
Iram daughter of Shoket Ali residents of Indalo, Kahara who was drowned into river near Kahara area. Girl were stuck in the river and crying for help and were subsequently rescued by Constable Imtiaz Ahmed.
A police team headed by SDPO Gandoh Nawaz Khanday who was on the way from Kahara towards Gandoh found a girl is crying for help in the middle of river, Khanday alongwith team immediately rushed the spot where Constable Imtiaz Ahmed rescued the girl and save her life. Later girl handed over to her family members, SDPO Gandoh said to The Chenab Times.
Locals appreciated the police for his wonderful job and said Gandoh police is doing great practice under the local son of soil and efficient person SDPO Nawaz Khanday who is doing remarkable job.
