Indian Army has launched a multi-pronged campaign to reach out to people in remote and rural areas of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, educate and assist them in the fight against corona virus.
Salwah, Mendhar on 05 Sep 20, as a part of Operation Sadbhavana and mission reach out plan, Indian Army distributed hand sanitizers and face masks to villagers residing near the Line of Control. The villagers in the area don’t have easy access to such items that are now an essential part of life to fight against the novel corona virus.
Besides this Indian Army briefed peoples about importance of staying indoors and take necessary precautions and sanitize the areas. The gesture of Army was very well received and appreciated by the local population.
