Kishtwar: For five posts of District Cricket Association Kishtwar ten candidates are trying their luck. As per the electoral Officer Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain, the elections for District Cricket Association Kishtwar will be held tomorrow 8th September 2020 at Dak Bungalow Kishtwar for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer. Two candidates for each post are contesting whose nomination paper were accepted. Chowdhary Liyaqat Ali and Nazir Ahmad Malik are contesting for the post of President whereas Arshad Hussain Mir and Mohd Saleem are the candidates for Vice President. Rajinder Kumar Sen and Shubham Shan are trying their luck for the post of Secretary, Fida Hussain and Rashid Lone are contesting for Joint Secretary whereas for the post of Treasurer Imtiaz Ahmad Dar and Mohd Dawood are trying their luck.
Results of the election will be announced tomorrow immediately after the elections. Elections are being conducted by JKCSA as per the instructions of Double bench of Honble High Court of J&K and BCCI. Mr. Noor Hussain Malik has been appointed as Observor for the elections for Kishtwar.
