Doda: BDC Chairperson boycott “Back to Village Phase 3rd” program

BDC chairperson boycotts third phase of ‘Back to Village’ programme

BDC chairperson Changa(Bhalessa) Mohd Abbas Rather along with Sarpanchs and panchs has decided to boycott the third chapter of the Back to Village program, which is going to held in the coming days, alleging that the government is befooling the people under this program as it has completely failed to address the issues that were highlighted in the previous programs.

The protest was led by BDC chairperson Mohd Abbas Rather.

BDC chairperson Mohd Abbas Rather informed media that it makes no sense of attending B2V-III as the issues of his panchayats which were highlighted in previous programme of B2V,could not be resolved and still pending.

“We have decided not to take part in the third phase of this programme because this program is not only a waste of time but also a waste of public money,” he said.

It has become difficult for them to respond to people of their respective panchayats to trust them about the status of the previous program,” he said.
