Security forces launched a massive cordon and search operation in many villages of Mendhar in Poonch district.
The operation was carried out by the BSF, Rashtriya Rifles, and Special Operation Group (SOG).
Launched during the wee hours of Monday, the cordon and search operations (CASO) saw forces conducting house-to-house searches in the villages.
