A 17-year-old youth was electrocuted to death after he came into contact with 33KV transmission line while cutting down tree branches at Kotranka area of Rajouri district on Sunday.
They said Mohammad Shoib (17) son of Mohammad Shakoor of Kewel in Tehsil Kotranka cutting tree branches near a 33kv line and got electric shock. He died on the spot, the officer said.
SHO Kotranka Habib Pathan confirming it told GNS that inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated and after postmortem body will be handed over to legal heirs for last rites. (GNS)
