Aryan Khan “At The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time”: Sussanne Khan On SRK son’s Arrest

[ad_1]

Sussanne Khan, an interior designer, stated today that Aryan Khan was “in the wrong place at the wrong time,” reacting sharply to social media users vilifying Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son after his arrest in the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case.

In the comment section of a journalist’s Instagram post, Sussanne Khan, who is believed to be a close family friend of the Khans, wrote, “I think this is not about Aryan Khan, as he was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time.”

“This situation is being made an example to drive home the excitement that some people get as they have a witch hunt on people from Bollywood,” she added.

Sussanne Khan, the ex-wife of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, is known to be close to Aryan Khan’s mother Gauri Khan.

The journalist argued in her tweet that Aryan Khan’s imprisonment should serve as a “wakeup call for parents.”

After officials in disguise raided a rave party on the Cordelia Cruise ship on its route to Goa, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Aryan Khan for alleged possession of forbidden narcotics and substance misuse. On Saturday evening, eight people were arrested, including Aryan Khan.

A Mumbai judge denied Aryan bail on Monday and ordered him to remain in detention until Thursday, despite his lawyer arguing in court that he was a special invitee to the cruise ship and thus “cannot be brought in with the entire seizure in the case.”

The anti-drugs bureau said the raids produced a haul of 13 grammes of cocaine, 21 grammes of charas, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grammes of MD. The drugs were found disguised in garments, underwear, and purses, according to the Press Trust of India, citing an unnamed anti-drugs bureau official.

Aryan Khan’s detention has elicited no response from Shah Rukh Khan or his family.
