SunRisers Hyderabad pacer Umran Malik delivered the fastest delivery in the present Indian Premier League (IPL) against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, clocking 152.95 kph. Umran bowled the opening delivery at 147kph in his second over of the match. On the speed gun, his fourth delivery measured in at 152.95 kph. Despite the fact that it was a full toss, the youthful pacer blew past Lockie Ferguson, who had delivered a ball at 152.75 in this year’s IPL, to claim the season’s fastest delivery.
Fans and veteran cricketers took to Twitter shortly after Umran’s quick over to praise the teenager from Jammu and Kashmir’s raw pace.
Lisa Sthalekar, a former Australian women’s cricketer, believes Umran would get a lot of money at the IPL auction next year.

Something about pace that has you on the edge of your seat. Umran Malik isn’t just a tearaway. He looks a proper bowler and we need to look after him.@IrfanPathan, any more there in Jammu and Kashmir?

Umran picked up his first IPL wicket on a memorable night for him. Wriddhiman Saha gloved a short ball bowled by the pacer right into the hands of Wriddhiman Saha behind the stumps.
Umran, who made his IPL debut last week, drew the eye of cricket fans with a 151.03-kph ball in his first game.
