Two brothers from Baramulla who competed in the 3rd District Taekwondo Championship, which was organised by the Baramulla Taekwondo Association, secured gold medals.
Mohammad Hammad Wani is the younger brother who participated in the sub-junior weight category and secured a gold medal after defeating his opponent unanimously, while Mohammad Huzaif Wani participated in the cadet weight division and clinched a gold medal.
Huzaif, who is older than his brother, has already represented team J&K at the 10th open National Taekwondo Championship in 2017, when he was just 7 years old.
Both the athletes and the patron of the District Baramulla Taekwondo Association felicitated both the athletes and congratulated them for their success.
