Two non-local labourers were dead after suspected militants attacked them at their rented accommodation on Tuesday in Hermain area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Quoting a senior police official GNS reported that 2 non local labourers identified as Munish Ahmad and Sagar Ali were attacked by militants as they were asleep at their rented accommodation, Both of them belonged from Kanoji UP.
They were shifted to district hospital Shopain, where both of them were declared brought dead, the officer added.
Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.

In a swift response, Police on tuesday claimed to have arrested a Hybird militant affliated with Lashkar-i-Toiba oufit within hours, who was responsible for killing non-Local labourers in Harmain area of South Kashmir’s Shopian.
Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told that acting promptly after two non-local labourers were killed by militants in their rented accommodation, one LeT Hybrid militant identified as Imran Ganie resident of Harmain who lobbed grenade on labourers has been arrested.
During interrogation he has confessed of hurling grenade on the non-local labourers, the top added.
Earlier in the dead of night, two non-local labourers identified as Munish Kumar and Ram Sagar both resident of Kanooj UP were killed after militants lobbed grenade on them when they were in deep sleep at their rented accommodation.
