10 doctors, including BMO, 36 paramedical staff’s salaries deducted after Deputy Commissioner Doda’s surprise visit at Thathri

After a surprise visit by Deputy Commissioner Doda at Thathri Hospital, many doctors and staff were found absent.

In a quick action, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan directed Sub Divisional Magistrate Thathri to deduct the salary of Block Medical Offer Thathri, doctors and other staff.

According to an order issued by SDM Thathri Athar Amin Zargar regarding the surprise visit of Deputy Commissioner Doda at the Trauma Centre Thathri, the deputy commissioner has expressed displeasure and directed three days’ salary deduction from Block Medical Officer Thathri and credited to District Red Cross Doda. One day’s salary of nine doctors and 36 paramedical staff will also be deducted and credited to District Red Cross Doda. As per order and live broadcast of The Chenab Times, the deputy commissioner Doda visited Trauma Centre Thathri at 10:05am.

As per The Chenab Times live broadcast, Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan was seen in quick action in the surprise visit to Thathri. He later visited Thathri market and directed the municipality to clean the decade-old blocked gutters in the main market within two days.
